Sometimes there is.

I hug everyone too, but like, when its the inlaws or sometimes my mom there is DEF negativity in it.

And IB, I'm doing this new thing, where I don't hold stuff in. I confront my feelings, and then calmly make them known.

Well, I couldn't help but notice that you responded to everyone in the thread but me. That hurt my feelings.

Maybe "Sometimes there is" for you

Not for me

i know - seems weird. she said the hug to their right is negative energy. i can't imagine having put out a boatload of negativity over the years... boxed

Not very big on hugging, especially people I don't really know. I think it’s too personal and is reserved for family and close friends.

that's awesome - great thing to do! nod

and i've not responded because your post had nothing to do with hugging, so i had to give it some thought. i'm sorry you're having problems with breathing, although conscious breathing is a very good thing. maybe the way you label it is the problem.

Left. biggrin But I'm left-handed so that may be why.

I hate hate HATE really weak, half-assed hugs that are given back to me though. neutral I'm a pretty enthusiastic person, and when I hug someone it's usually really heart-felt, so I can't stand when someone barely hugs back. It makes me feel like an idiot for hugging them in the first place. redface

falloff What's the "worse" part then? hmmm

Yeah, limp handshakes are gross. A couple of times though I've had men shake my hand while meeting me and I swear they've almost crushed my hand bones into tiny fragments. disbelief

I can't stand the "half-hug" either. Only one half of the body comes close and is usually accompanied by a lame double pat on the back. confused
