We're currently seeing only "cycle 5" over here. The part where the model (who apparently also won that season) was discussing biology with one of the other girls was so hilariously over the top. She was assuring the other girl that birds are blind and they navigate with their sense of hearing. That's why a bird that had flewn into their house kept crashing onto their furniture(!).

I like Natasha, but the language barrier is kicking her ass. Mr. Jay is gonna be throwing these uber trendy fashion terms and it's gonna go right over her head again. One person on that show who I don't really care for is Renee. She seems to be worrying about anyone and everyone but herself. Why was she so obsessed with attacking Jaslene. She seems like an instigator, especially judging from the previews of next week show when she gets into it with Brittany.

I do like those tights though.



The panel seems to be in love with Brittany. I swear she could be my gynecologist's daughter. They have similar features.

These make overs weren't so great,imo. They were giving them all weaves to just add length and volume. I was hoping for major changes. Brittany, Felicia, and Dionne's were the only ones that really stood out,imo.


Brittany really looks like a younger version of my gynecologist in her Before picture.


Dionne's hair cut was cute They used Kelis for inspiration and I love Kelis's haircut.


Felicia's makeover

I think she looks good with bangs and dark hair. That before hair reminded me of Karrine Stefans....funny the panel kept saying "video girl"


I thought Natasha's makeover didn't really fit her.


I did like the theme of the photo shoot. I wouldn't mind shooting something like that for myself. Those vibrant pinks and blue .....and sweets. You can't go wrong with sweets.

Brittany's pic. was really good.


Other than that one, I wasn't too crazy about the rest of their pictures. I was hoping Renee got the boot this week. She's too much of a fight starter. At least that's how she's edited. What's with Tyra constantly getting on Jaslene for not having a personality? I remember they got on one girl for having too much personality and being too silly. I'm thinking, damn what do they want? The girls to be their puppets for their amusement? Probably It's almost like Tyra and Co. wants Jaslene to be this grand drag queen persona.

Brittany is completely photogenic, modelesque, and spot-on when she needs to be. But I don't like her.

My least favorite is Renee, and it's all because of her personality. I would seriously have a girl crush on her if she didn't seem like such a b--ch.

Jael is really great, in my opinion, I just wish she didn't sound like the chick who married Peter Brady when she speaks.

I think Diane needs to bring it soon or she'll be gone. I like her, but the confidence displayed in the first episode has since turned to timidity.

And Jaslene must be mentioned in any posts regarding Cycle 8. In my opinion, she is too thin, but in her photos she is radiant. Something about her reminds me of Gia.

her hair colour and eyebrows...they just threw off her entire beauty. she's stunning now and i love her bangs.

The chick who got kicked off - I had hope that she could pull it together, her face looked good in the "meat" photo though she's not much in person. Why aren't these chicks practicing in the mirror nonstop? Using the runway in the house?? What do they think is gonna get them through this shitty competition, luck?? OY...

Natasha should pose upside down in every shoot. I love the blue tones and shadows of her picture.

The show is bunk and unlike other reality model shows over the world, ANTM has failed to produce any top models.

I loved this week's shoot....most of the girls took really nice pictures this week. I was cracking up at this shoot. Some of the girls are just too feminine to pull off masculinity. Natasha was a trip on the set and it was cute seeing Dionne give her a lesson on today's hip hop culture. She was the most convincing too,imo. I missed when they were putting the makeup on her and when the camera panned to her, I honestly didn't realize it was her




I was lazy and went to a forum dedicated to ANTM to get the photos already lined up.

I know that wasn't her best shot. I really think the panel pick the worst pictures for certain girls they plan to get rid of.

I thought Jael's pic. was cute, but the panel kept going on like it was horrendous. Well I guess she's not really a convincing male, but still a fun picture.

Funny they kept saying she pulled it off so effortlessly....almost like they were deliberately pointing out her masculine jawline.

Renee's pic. was good again this week.

Sarah:

I didn't see what was so bad about Sarah's pic. either. It's kinda weird looking, but in a good way.

Whitney:

What's with the extremely fake looking eyebrow makeup ....and not taping her breast down? I know they're not supposed to baby these girls on how to portray a male, but when you're working with a curvy body like Whitney's, it's kinda hard to pass as a man.
