Head On Commercial Replacement!

The new McDonald's Filet O Fish commercial takes the crown from the "Head On" commercials for "Most Annoying Commercial on the Planet" (with many expletives in between "annoying", "commercial", and "planet").

Just thought I'd let you know. This is what the mute button is made for. nod The letters are wearing off my mute button, probably...

I understand. And in case you wondered, this one is kinda like "filet o fish."
"filet o fish?"
"filet o fish."
"what?"
"filet o fish."

we don't get many commercials here, except on Thai TV, which are usually for 'freshy, firmy' whitening creams. We normally just get this intermission thing come up with annoying muzak and a 20 second loop of various pictures of music artists and movie stars. I hate your face Heath Ledger! pissed

.

Yes it is.

Almost makes you want to suddenly go 'yaaaaay!' in line in the post office just to see what happens. lol

This country starts off a little strange the first time you get here. That's just simple culture shock if you've never been to S.E. Asia. Then after just a week or two it's all familiar and you feel right at home, with your billabong t-shirt, a little Thai language, some interactions with locals and a few days beard growth. Then you stay here too long and you realise this place is nuts. Everything's all wrong, yet for the most part the people are really conservative and bland and just walking around as if everything were perfectly normal and ok. It's surreal. They won't realise or acknowledge the most obvious things staring them in the face, like slowing vehicles, or that the light coloured stuff on pizzas is cheese and even though mayonnaise is a similar colour, it's not cheese. Or corruption. Maybe they simply pay them no mind and have everything sorted spiritually. And yet, I know that's not the case because do anything even slightly outside of what's expected in a public setting and you'll see people literally implode from confusion. lol

TMPletz

Car and truck commercials can be damn annoying when they play the same one every single commercial break during a 30 minute show, and especially when they're really dumb (i.e. Toyota trucks that can withstand meteors and be thrown 50 feet in the air by the Loch Ness Monster and yet not have a scratch).

But the big prize goes to Mac and their stupid misleading commercials. I soooo wish Microsoft would run counter-ads, but there's enough of those on YouTube that people have made for them. lol
