I thought there was a connection but maybe not?

bawl I saw the guy that I have a crush on in the parking lot and he totally almost walked off without saying anything to me, but I quickly said, "Hey!" you know. But he looked kinda' tired, worried, or something on his mind. Plus I was walking with a male friend of mine so I don't know if thought that my friend was my boyfriend or something. But still! I can't believe that he did not say hi to me or look at me first. If it wasn't for me then I guess we would not have looked at each other. I knew that he saw me as soon as we were in a closer distance! bawl
What should I say if I see him the next time? Please no dirty stuff.
Sigh! eek confused sad neutral
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Polite and simple conversation is a good place to start, something like, "hey how's it going?" or "how are you?". ZombieKitten's comment of "I like your shoes" is a very good one too. If it's someone you work with comment or ask about work or the work load. Be yourself and talk to him the same way you would if you were talking to someone you didn't have a crush on usually works.
