How much, everything included, is this whole trip around the world costing you? Just curious.

About $6,000. More or less. The flights were very cheap.

Possibly working for a short while but Id love to go to Canada, USA and Central America. Everywhere basically, Id also love to go through Eastern Europe and the Near East like Iran before the Republicans get there.

Wow, you're on a mission. Kinda puts me to shame. I live in this area, yet Thailand aside you've no doubt seen more of S.E. Asia than I have. I've only been to Vientiane in Laos, to Penang in Malaysia, never into Myanmar or Vietnam, and only a few hundred yards over the border in Cambodia for a visa run. disbelief

I passed through briefly Vientiane but you should go to Luang Prabang as it´s really sweet. Id leave Vietnam for a while as it was a bit tough at times. Apart from Hoi An, which is a must if you are a fashion freak.

Ah, Mon knows Luang Prabang. Cheers, I'll bear that in mind. We're thinking of going to Laos at some point soon as we always quite enjoyed it there.

Did you see the pics I posted? Keep looking. There´s some great trekking in Laos and its really beautiful. Theyre the most similar to the Thais in S.E. Asia I reckon.
