You're a good-looking dude.

To get what you think you want, here's my advice:

1. Know this.
2. Burn your Morrissey records.

But I like Morrissey lol

In fact, I'm listening to "Viva Hate" right now. music It's a beautifully crafted album.

He romanticizes depression (all the while living the high life himself). The only happy person at a Morrissey show is Morrissey. lol

And the only person like his public persona that could ever get laid would be somebody who was the frontman of a successful band that romanticized depression.

yes, creating depressing art is definitely attractive to women

There's proper ways to channel that stuff, but sitting alone in a room whining along with Morrissey isn't going to impress anyone

Yes I did. And you will see those pics shortly.

As far as Morrissey goes, I'm in love with his music first and foremost. His lyrical themes and subjects are just icing on the cake. And I don't necessarily think he romanticizes depression. I think he's just expressing his emotions as any artist would. He's like the white man's version of the Blues.

And he said it himself in one interview that he might've made some money but that hasn't really changed his attitude about life and stuff.

Now please leave my other hero alone.

He says a lot of things in interviews. Like that he doesn't have a computer. I heard an interview with a journalist who said he happens to know for a fact that he checks his email every day.

An old piece of advice: "Don't listen to what people say, just watch what they do."

Of course I don't accept things at face value. That's where the whole trust issue comes in. Not everyone is what they appear to be.

Plus that's NOT the point, because my ugly ass (check my profile pic lol) hasn't gone more than a few weeks without getting laid in over 10 years.

AND, I agree with Carrie, it's not the money.

So. . . fine! Good! Give up. It's hopeless. You're right. As soon as you manage to let it go, you'll end up getting it. lol

Assuming your standards are reasonable. Assuming "pretty" is in some normal human realm for you. Remember, a lot of us geeky chicks aren't the hot ones. The hot ones got sucked into "popular people" shit. The rest of us had to find something else to do, so we read books and played video games and stuff. thumbs up!

Good luck.

Yeah, but how long do I have to wait? I should be having all the fun now that I'm in my 20's. I've been told by many folkd that when you get to be into your 30's and 40's and stuff, you won't get the opportunity to have the kind of fun you did in your 20's. By that time it is expected of you to settle down with someone.

It would be nice to have both actually. Casual sex is too risky these days anyways.

But then again coming home on a friday night knowing that you're not gonna get your dick sucked is a bitch in itself.

That's part of it. I mean I won't be so condescending as to just give it up to anyone. The whole thing about STD's and stuff made me paranoid even back in high school. That's probably why I never scored then.

I've been doing a lot of homework about myself and I've come to find that I am "involuntarily celibate". That means for some reason or another I would love to but I just can't get a date or a shag or anything. And it's not because there's anything significantly wrong with me. It's just that it's an unattainable thing for me. My friends and family are getting it left and right, but for some reason it has evaded me in every opportunity. Before my last girlfriend whom I dated from spring to fall of last year, I hadn't dated anyone since Jr. High (9 years). I always wanted to but I was always either shy or fearful of things like infidelity, VD, and stuff. Or I was focused on more important things like education and improving myself as a human being. But I always wondered what it would be like to get laid and fall in love.

Some of you might look at me and think I must be a playboy, but oh, how wrong you are. My mother asked me one time why I didn't have a girlfriend, but I didn't know how to answer. I just did this shrug She thought of that as not normal, but I told her "what is?". Is it normal for Pacific tribes to mutilate and pierce their skin for art or fashion? Your average Westerner wouldn't think so. But that's how it is for that particular culture.

And then I started that thread a while back about how I've given up on finding a significant other. At this point I must say I have stopped trying to find someone since either every girl is taken or I'm just too weird or different from others. I'm probably doing to die a celibate virgin, but hey, it's something I just have to deal with.

Now you see one of the reasons why I'm a Morrissey fan. wink

But maybe on the .org there's someone who can relate. Or perhaps there are some who are voluntarily celibate for other reasons.

You shouldn't take that attitude...it feels like that because its on your mind...but if you just let things take their natural course, some woman of meaning or of expedience will literally fall into your lap....I truly believe that there is someone out there for everyone....

....you have to relax whatever fears you may have lingering.....infidelity is a risk...VD and othe STDs are risks that you don't have to take, but that comes with sticking to your ideals and what you're looking for instead of settling for the first set of open legs.....

...not saying that open legs are a bad thing.....quite the contrary....whistling
