I love daisies/black-eyed susans, gerbera daises and sunflowers...they're so cheery and remind me of late summer.
On your trips back to the D have you been through Dearborn? Ford plants rows and rows of sunflowers on the land it owns, but doesn't currently use. It's so beautiful.

One time we were driving and this random sunflower was just there on the side of the highway. We pulled over and took it to my Dad.

We later tried to replant it, but it died.

But, I see stuff like sunflowers, and it makes me wonder, how can people NOT believe in God, or SOME higher power.
