I'm useles at this sort thing. I've got a book here to help me out, but I just haven't got what it takes 2 drag my way through it. I have a very sober attitude concerning work.

This here is a piss-take of the cover letter that I can't write:

Arrogant, yet desperate, I’d be happy to consider anything you can offer me, in the coming months. Really couldn’t care less what it might be. You shouldn’t expect much from me, I tend to do as little as possible, thereby saving my limited energies for my hobbies which are naturally infinitely more important and rewarding than anything you could ever throw at me. Tosspot!

Just copy the example from in the book!

Lots of good example of different types of cover letters. Just find a style you like and make it your own.
