Let's talk Bluetooth devices

Okay, I was totally against them but I have a RazR and the earpiece that came with it is a piece o' crap. I need one to drive in Chicago so I broke down and bought one. I got the Samsung W400 or something and I dug it because it was smaller than Motorola's products and fits inside my ear. Dig it a lot but it won't stay put. I may have to go back to the store and exchange it for a Motorola one. Anyone have one that they love? What about Jabra?

Ivy, the more expensive ones are best unfortunately. The high end Plantronics is one of the highest rated ones around for function and fit. I will be buying it when I can. it can be had for about 70 bucks on ebay.

My girlfriend has one. It doesn't stay on my ear for some reason. Also, she's constantly having to charge it and the phone now.

I use a earpiece with a cord, and I like it much better than the phone by itself (regular phone hurts my ear beacuse it goes from too quiet to too loud unpredictably). Of course hands-free is a must for driving.

But I see the appeal of not having a cord. It's always tangled up. I just don't want to look like a cyborg. I hate those people who wear it even when they're not using it!

Yeah it sounds lazy, but it's nice to not have to actually hold the phone in your hand.

I've gotten over looking like I'm talking to thin air, though people still try to talk to me when I'm on the phone because it doesn't look like I'm on the phone.

bluethooth pieces are kind of a sore subject 4 me anyways because i work 4 a cell phone provider and i couldnt tell u how many times ive had some1 call in and be like "how can i get my bluetooth 2 work??", then go through the process of telling them how 2 get their bluetooth ready 4 pairing and use the VERY basic instructions that i have available 2 me 2 get the ear piece itself ready 4 pairing...

and after all of that...sooooo many people are still like "uh...its not working..." at that point all i can tell em 2 do is refer 2 the owners manual of either their mobile device and/or the bluetooth headset itself, which is where they shoulda started in the 1st place. disbelief aaaaannnnndddd... theres only so much i can do while im sitting at a computer with the person on the phone...and y do people not think 2 just take the headset 2 wherever they bought it if they need further assistance (AFTER referring 2 the manual)?? wall

boxed ...sorry...i had 2 vent there 4 a minute...
"...took my sex and my money...took all my self esteem...had the nerve 2 think it was funny...i never knew a bitch so mean"

As a wireless employee, I would have to say the Jabra JX10 is excellent. It's a bit pricey. I bought it for my mom. She sounds clear on it without any feedback. The best one so far
