We have recycle centers available to us, we live way out in the country, so we have to pay for trash pickup. But in our house we recycle cans for my daughters "Earth Club" that she is involved in @ school., helps raise money for their clubs and they hold concerts and such to promote recycling, plus when weather permits, the kids go in on Saturdays and devote several hours to cleaning up the school grounds and surrounding areas in our community. Because of God..we 2 r 1~~Darren & Suzyn forever

The city of Seattle has an ordinance banning recycleables in the trash. If your trash has more than 10% recycleables and they catch you, they can fine you. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

There is no perfect place
Yes I know this is true I'm just learning how to smile Thats not easy to do

i did a little googling and he could recycle if he took the stuff to the foodfair on wednesdays better than nothing i suppose. but that just isn't as satisfying as taking your cans in and getting $10 back
you know what else i noticed? no recycling options in the airports i was in. and with the "no liquids" security thingy i was forever getting rid of a plastic bottle. (i went through security 6 times )

I hear ya. I'm making the ultimate sacrifice (no, not dying on a cross) of giving up beer (to help Mon - she doesn't drink a lot, but it fucks her up when she does) and I figure I may as well throw fizzy drinks like Sprite and Coke in there too. Bottled teas too. From now on it's all water and tea (without milk) for me. http://www.sciencecases.o...water2.asp

And I'm okay with that. Suuuure...and when your grandchildren have no snow to play in during the winter because of the greenhouse effect in burning all of that plastic at landfills, they can say, "It's all Grandma's fault! "
