These are really gross! [Edited 2/26/07 13:24pm] OMG I love this stuff, I haven't had any since I left Japan, where can I buy it stateside? Any asian market would sell it. I live in San Francisco, so it's pretty much everywhere. I had a roomie who was Philepeno and loved that stuff. She could also eat these right out of the can... The smell alone would make me wanna retch! Christian Zombie Vampires

Anything with onions, tomatoes, or peppers. I like nachos, but I hate salsa because of the chunks of peppers and tomatoes. The wierd thing is that I'll dip my nacho chips in just the juice, but I'll scream bloody murder as soon as I see a piece or the tiniest bit of tomato, pepper, or onion.

Those are terrible. Equally as terrible are those chalky pink mints that everyone's grandmothers and spinster aunts put out in their candy dishes. How ironic is it to have someone with a username like WillyWonka talk about crappy candy? On that note, I agree with Dansa about the circus peanuts...they are gag nasty But I'm here to tell ya...there's something else...that's even worse... it's really bad... gross... disgusting... vile.... evil, even.... That horrible Christmas ribbon candy made an appearance every year in my family in various candy dishes or stockings, but no one would eat it and so the pieces would eventually fuse together into one gigantic glob of sugary modern art. And you had to use a chisel and hammer to chip it out of the candy dish.

pork rinds are NASTY. i've never understood the appeal, even when i was a kid and would eat meat. gross gross gross yet i WILL eat a circus peanut or two. but not with kimchee. Oh no. I had that once at a Korean place in NYC alongside a platter of beef tongue and really the whole thing was vile. I swear, the kim chee LOOKED like it would taste good, but I almost puked when I put it into my mouth. And I used to love pork rinds when I was a kid, until - duh - I found out what they were made of. I always just figured they were pork "flavored" chips or something. Well, my husband ordered the tongue, but I swear I thought the kimchee was far worse. Plus, I've had tongue before so it wasn't too disgusting for me. I just had one bite of it though. It didn't help that I was ridiculously hungover though. Probably not such a good idea to eat Korean when you're feeling queasy. i used to love eating peeps and then drinking pop while there was peep mush in my mouth, because it would make the mushy peep foam up a little, then i'd have this fizzy foamy peep goo in my mouth and i just thought that was the best thing ever.
