Deviled Eggs

Who likes them ?

I LOVE THEM! I never make them tho. They're not hard to make, but they're one of those "party foods" that I don't think of making very often.

When I do make them, I like to sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top. Yum...

They're okay.

When I make them I use whipped cream cheese with the yolks instead of mayonnaise. And fresh chives.

Usually just with mayo, salt/pepper and paprika. Although, I've had them with crab meat and they're just delish.

i get really upset when someone brings deviled eggs to a party and they have relish or pickle chunks in 'em. that's just gross and skanky.

Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

8 Hard boiled eggs
3 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. black olives, minced
1/8 Tsp. dill weed
3 oz. smoked salmon
Pepper to taste
Ed's Smoked Salmon



Recipe Preparation:

Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks placing them in a medium sized bowl. Add mayonnaise to yolks and combine. Stir in olives and dill weed and fold in the smoked salmon. Pepper mixture to taste. Spoon mixture into egg halves and garnish with paprika. Refrigerate until firm. Makes 16 deviled eggs.

They're just hard boiled eggs that are cut in half and the yolk taken out and
mixed with various spices (mustard, mayo, paprika, chives etc, basically, whatever you like) then spooned back into the half hole of the egg.
They are THE BEST party food, but only if they are cold...you're taking a chance by eating luke warm ones...lol
