Anx	i consider myself city folk, and when i want to get away i go to another city. i grew up country and i hated it, so i guess i'm still rebelling.

I grew up city ... live country and love both actually i think i'd really enjoy a week in the country, as long as i was really enjoying the COUNTRY and not having to put up with provincial smalltown crap.

my country folk parents get away to phoenix for the winter biggrin

but they don't venture out into the city much lol

and this country girl who lives in the city goes home to the country to center nod

I grew up in the country and couldn't wait to get out into the city and live a little.

Now I've been in the city for 5 years, and I love going back to the country, where I get a fright that it's so quiet lol

Can't wait to settle back there, but Im too young for that just now.

It's not as bad as it can be though. I think about those folks who are at least 30 minutes away from the nearest place and feel thankful that I don't live out that far. lol

I grew up in the country (on a farm) and could not wait to leave. I hate visiting, I hate being there, I hate everything about it. It's so utterly and completely boring and void of excitement. I would never willing vacation in the country...ever. bored

And camping? Fucking for-get it. I think that would be tantamount to being in hell for me!

My parents still live on the farm and when they go on 'vacation' they go to other 'nature' places--not necessarily the "country" though. They do come visit me in New York, but that's not really a vacation for them, it's more like a parental obligation. lol

I grew up in a tiny town. I now live in a large town. I would prefer a city, but not a large one. And when I want to go somewhere, I usually go to a city. Depends. You can't go hiking in the city really.
