I got a traffic ticket...on purpose

This evening while I was leaving work, I decided to go out the back road. I am approaching a stop sign, when I see a cop car on the road I am about to turn on to. For some reason, I did not signal or even tap my brakes...but sped up instead. Of course I got a ticket for $115.00, but the odd part is, I did it on purpose, and enjoyed it. My life is so dull being back in America, I have go to breaking traffic laws for cheap thrills.

What the hell is wrong with me? Does someone have a better idea that I can do for kicks besides this?

I do that daily, somedays more than others. I am going on a road trip next weekend, but that is a temporary thrill.

You have a severe case of equating punishment with the pleasure from breaking the laws of the social order. The latter part would be relatively normal antisocial behaviour (we all do it), but if you need the punishment from the law enforcement instance as a verification for your pleasurable act having taken place there is a serious problem right there. The enjoyment/thrill of the situation wouldn't have even taken place were you not had been perfectly aware that you were going to be called out for it.

In other words, you are a masochist. Unfortunately, you are wasting your sexual energy on driving vehicles instead of using it on sex (which would be relatively harmless).

You better check with you insurance company to see if that ticket will affect your rate. If it does you might not want to lose your mind on the road like that again. You CAN get into an accident and hurt not only yourself but someone else. confused

There is no traffic in the lane I went into, the road has blocked off.

That is one of the craziest things I've heard of anyone doing in a while, though I can understand the whole dull thing.
