I loved tonight's episode. I love that Stan Lee made a cameo. I love Missy Pyle. I love that they used a David Bowie quote "We can be Heroes." I loved that Claire broke it down to her daddy.

I cannot wait for next week's episode.

Oh yeah, you know I have to make this thread gay, it's my duty. Did you all catch the homoerotic moment between Syler and Suresh when they're talking before they go into their respective hotel rooms? I know, it's a stretch....

Big stretch there! I thought it very creepy. I too liked last nights episode. It has it's own pace. Lots of Drama mixed in with some action (though it always looks to be the opposite from the promos). I thought it was really good. I like that there is a plot being developed around those Heroes who are really in the dark about what is going on.

Muse and I were discussing how can this go past one season, as they have cornered themselves with the plot. I'm thinking it'll be done Desperate Housewives style...wrap up the current story (prolly with a cliffhanger, but with resolution at the beginning of Season 2) and start a current one to introduce 3-4 episodes from the end of season 1. I can see how this can be. We have the immediate plot of Peter blowing up the city and the longer arc of Syler killing all the Heroes. I am thinking the latter will be our carry over to Season 2.

The only thing that did not ring true to me was for some reason Simone seemed different. I don't think her character has been written that well, esp since we haven't seen her. I also thought the anger Peter had towards Issac a bit off putting. Maybe it's becaue I don't consider either of them to really have a relationship with Simone. ANd then of course SImone shows up right at the end to get shot?

heh peter is adorable, sylar is creepy, can't believe saresh? is walking around with this creepy man, I can't stand claires little brother, he's an ass. Hope C and her father make up, her father doesn't mean any harm. Next weeks episode looks awesome though, hope the cop doesn't hurt his children.

I'm liking Dark Peter, I think its a nice foreshadowing of whats going to happen once Nikki/Jessica show up. Also with Peter we are going to get the "with great power comes great responsibility" shtick.

The thing with Syler is I don't like him just showing up and taking powers without anyone seeming to fight back and protect themselves. I thought we would get to see a bit of this with the Big Boned Gal. Though he does seem to be having problems with her power.

I'm trying to figure out how they are going to get Mohinder away from Syler once Mohinder figures out that Syler is evil.

Great cameo by Stan Lee as the Bus driver, I'm glad that he approves of the whole stealing the X men concept.

But the best surprise overall was the shift in Matt's character. Thank god he's getting a bit interesting.

Hana seems like an interesting character.

The Isaac/Peter was a bit rushed but you can see why Peter was pissed cause his guide has left him cause of Isaac's actions.

Simone meh, But at least we have a reason for a lot of anger between two of the heroes. Classic comic book stuff.

My wondering how people around radioactive man arent getting sick with poisoning after even a bit of exposure, I mean if the guy is killing grass as he walks on it, If I was next to him I'd be a bit concerned.

i don't think there is much they could do to fight back. he can use his telekinesis and basically make them do whatever he wants. plus, remember him with that waitress? he split her head open without even touching her. unless he confronts someone with a similar power there isn't alot they can do.



he was practicing to control it before. perhaps he is better at it now. when the grass was dying, i think he did that on purpose b/c he was saying goodbye to his wife. kind of symbolic that everything around him at that time died.

He seems to be able to control it unless his temper flares up. It seems as though many of the heroes have an issue with anger and have problems that arise with their abilities when they get angry.

Okay, seen the episode now. I loooooved the action! I cheered when Peter finally flew! I have been rotting for fifteen episodes now to see him fly, damnit.

I kinda dislike all the hoopla cutting us from Hiro finding that damn' sword and meeting Linderman.

Who do you think he is? Is Linderman someone we already know? Or a totally new character?

Is he the financial force behind Bennett? Is his genetic testing the reason for our hero's abilities?
