i have to add the numbers up and somehow make it even in my head. it always has to end on an even number. for example if i add a number sequence (like a phone number) together that ends up in 39, i add the 3 + 9 to make 12. but i don't add the 1 + 2 because that equals 3, and three isn't an even number. i have to leave it at 12.

or i'll add the digits in people's license plates just to see what i come up with, or to make them match. like if someone's license plate is 483 129, i have to somehow add the two sets of digits together (within themselves) til i can satisfactorily (to me) make the two sides equal eachother. and if the license plate (or whatever i'm looking at) is letters and numbers i'll assign each letter a number so i can still do this. usually it's just a number that the letter resembles. like "l" is "1", "A" is "4", etc. if the letter doesn't resemble any number at all (like "m") then i sometimes (if i'm bored) count out the alphabet so i can assign a number.

oh, and if there is something with a pattern, like say a china hutch that has three doors on bottom and two on top, i have to somehow account for that extra door so the top and bottom equal eachother, by adding in a shelf or something like that.

all this is done silently and in my head so no one has known about it..... till now.
