How about Perfume and Cologne, what are your Favorites?

Let's talk about perfume and cologne!

DID YOU KNOW?

Perfume is the most highly concentrated form of fragrance. To be termed a true or real perfume, a fragrance must contain at least 15% perfume oil. A typical designer named perfume contains 22% essential oil compared with only 12% in an eau de parfum, 8% in an eau de toilette, 4% in a cologne and just 1% in a splash.

The greater the concentration of perfume oil, the richer, the more sensuous and the longer-lasting the fragrance. Whereas an eau de toilette requires constant re-application throughout the day, the scent of a real perfume may be enjoyed for several hours.

So what is your favorite fragrance? Do you buy the true, real perfume or do you choose a lesser made product that smells the same?

Also fellas, what do YOU like?

I personally LOVE Issey Miyake for men and Vera Wang for Women, they smell sooooo good!

yay!

You're my pefume twin!! All I wear is this:

And I have to wear the toilet water, not the perfume. I have both, but the scents are different enough, I really prefer the one over the other.
I've been wearing it for probably almost 10 years. eek

You know what's really interesting? Many people are allergic to perfume and the ingredient that they are MOST allergic to is the Alcohol content. But the higher the percentage of perfume oil the less allergic sensitive people are.

I can only wear true, pure perfume and found a company that sells it but at a fraction of the cost so instead of paying $280 or more for 1 ounce of perfume I only pay like $65 for it. I also have eczema so I have to be really careful of what I put on my skin and one time I sprayed a very sensitive area by accident and it did not even burn me. I cannot wear imitations at all. Besides the true perfume lasts much longer anyway, so I do not have to buy as much.

I agree, its nice. Although I think men wearing aftershave/cologne is a bit cheesy and outdated.
