Calvin Lockhart dies...... Actor Calvin Lockhart Dies
Calvin Lockhart, a well-known face in such movies as "Uptown Saturday Night," "Let's Do It Again," and "Cotton Comes to Harlem," died Thursday from complications of a stroke, EUR.com reports. He was 72. A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Lockhart was classically trained and became the only Black actor ever invited to be an actor-in-residence at the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford Upon-Avon. He produced and directed several major stage productions and also appeared on television in London, Germany and the U.S., including the television series "Good Times" "Starsky and Hutch" and “Dynasty.” In interesting trivia about the actor, rapper Notorious B.I.G. borrowed the name of his "Let's Do It Again" character, "Biggie Smalls." Lockhart is survived by many, including his wife and two sons.

"Silky Slim"
Awww man.. i was reading an article on the web about my man a week or so ago. Talking about his looks garnered so much attention when he arrived in Hollywood; he became uncomfortable and tried to disfigure his face with scissors until a friend told him to enjoy what God had blessed him with.
