My eyes look kinda weird in this pic. They're nearly blind, so they don't focus very well.

OK, they are greeen with little sage and golden and tiny bits of blue hue but primarily they are green. Some people try and tell me I have brown eyes! That is not brown!

When I ask people to recall my eye colour many of them say "dark brown".

I guess because my "light" eye colour is not really a light colour but a dark green/blue they remember it as dark = brown.
