I love cosmetics. I use Lancome products to cleanse, tone and moisturize.
I love red lipstick - it's my signature color, especially Chanel in Red No.5 and Dior Lip Vinyl in Red Vinyl. I also always wear liquid eyeliner and I love Lancome Definicils mascara. Oh and Nars Orgasm blush.

I don't wear makeup much anymore. Guess I prefer the "natural look". RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I wish I had the nerve to go make-upless. What's funny is that when people see me with makeup on, they tell me, "OMG, you look like a different person with your makeup on!" RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I wish I had the nerve to go make-upless. In the summer when I have a really great tan, I only like to wear mascara and a little lip gloss.

I wish I had the nerve to go make-upless. Dang...me too! Although, when I used to tan, I'd wear less - like Erin. Now that I've reached my mid-30s I'm more careful about staying out of the sun.

I have very light skin, and burn easily and/or get even more moles on my body. The only time I go out into the sun now is when I'm on vacation. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

They say most of the damage you get takes place when you are a kid. So, now I foolishly convince myself that it's ok to be a sun worshiper and I'll be totally safe. I'm so gonna start hitting the tanning beds now.

They are no different than going out in the sun...except it's controlled....? I used to do tanning at a bed all the time, but I stopped when I was pregnant and haven't gone back. I think I still have a lot of sessions left at the place I used to go to. Thanks for the warning, though. I know that many people over do it. I'm definitely not one of those people. I'm not a fan of the nuclear or leather look.

What I meant was that tanning beds also dry out the skin and can make the texture leathery and spotted. I guess occasionally isn't so bad. Some people just do it religiously.

I don't wear makeup all the time, but I like it.
I use Neutrogena for mascara, foundation, and powder, and MAC for lipstick (love the Viva Glam shimmery nude, and then there's a sheer red one that I wear a lot). I don't have an eyeshadow that I love. I use whatever. Jane, Body Shop. . . The Body Shop makes some pretty lipglosses, actually. Their holiday Cranberry one is great. Oh, and Benefit makes this nice peachy powder stuff. . . oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I'm pretty much a MAC fiend - foundation, bronzing powder, lipsticks/glass, shadow. The only thing I'm not picky about is my eyeliner - whoever makes the colors that work & the pencil must be soft (the green one I wear most often is some drug store shit, can't remember the name). The only thing I never wear is blush of any kind, it's just not right on me. But I'm usually full face if I'm going to work, definitely when I'm going out. I've been doing some deep smokey eye shit lately, shadow is so fun. I can't believe I waited years to get into it...

[Edited 2/24/07 6:56am] Lipsticks are around $15, I think. But that's all of their stuff I wear. $15 is not so bad for a lipstick. I have hard time finding make up sometimes because my skin tone is like that of Salma Hayek and Jennifer Lopez. I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Here is a little tip in finding a lipstick/lipgloss/lip pencil that suits your skin tone. Look at the inside of your lip and try to match it's colour when choosing a shade. I guarantee that the colour you pick, using this method, will look fabulous.

I love make-up and am a total product whore when it comes to new colors, formulas, etc. And as I get older, I've realized that I really can't use cheap products at all. It's better to just splurge because it's really worth it. Ive seen this spray on foundation by Dior, and It feels great, I tested a little on my hand. I might get it! It's a light coverage. ... I have so much make-up that I hardly ever need to buy any b/c the museum where I used to work would give it out in their gift bags at openings and special events: Bobbi Brown, MAC, Estee Lauder, Lancome; whatever I didn't give away I use, but I am mainly a STILA girl when it comes to make-up. Mascara is always Maybelline. I also like Neutrogena base and powder. For daytime I keep it pretty basic, but at night I like a very dramatic smokey eye and lots of mascara to accentuate my eyes.

Well for foundation and powder I use Benefit stuff- so Non-Fiction foundation, Get Even Powder... The Get Even powder is great but i like to warm up the complexion so i use a big brush and swish on a small mix of Yyves Rocher bronzer (from Paris) and Benefit's 'Georgia' ...this suits my light olive colouring well at this time of the year (Summer moving to Autumn ) though when i was in the US and in France i was using only bronzer not the Georgia. The cold weather made me want to warm it up a little. My next step is the most tedious- and that is my eyes! I use a black liquid eyeliner which is in powder form- i use Benefit's Babycakes. I take a small skinny brush and wet it, dip it in the black pallette and gently line the inner most parts of my eyes, then I line the side parts gently, flicking slightly outward and line the top inner eyelid finely. I use my Scott Barnes 'Gorgeous' Pallette and use the cream colour shadow on mmy lids, then use lashings of my new Microscopic masacara by L'oreal! Both upper and lower lashes for a wide-eyed look. Since my hair is black atm, i define my eyebrows lightly with the same liquid eyeliner i use on my eyes. It pulls the whole defined look together i find! Then I choose the peachier shade from my Scott Barnes pallette and dusty around the cheekbone, and then use Prestige's new Wonder Full lip gloss which has the 'bee stung' affect. It's in a pretty peachy shade I love to play up the eye makeup when i'm in the mood...shocking bright blue looks awesome on my eyes with softened lips and cheeks...has a real kinda exotic summery feel to it. Dont'do it often though, only when i'm in the mood for it. I tend to like neutral-pinky/browny champaigne/bronzy nude shades No hablo espanol,no!
