Men: Answer Me This.

Why would a man hold eye contact with a woman during a conversation for more than an average eye contact holding time? Are men quick to assume that a woman is interested in him?
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

My experience has been that men that are really interested tend to be shy about making prolonged eye contact.

Just my experience though.

Oh I see. So maybe a man that holds eye contact is just actualy listening.

I think moreso we/hwe are trying to build intrest. We think U like that sort of thing. Looking someone in the eye builds a deeper impresion.

Most likely.

Maybe he's read some article that says an eye contact extending to over four seconds of time means there is a mutual sexual attraction between the participants. It's completely natural to shun away after few seconds, so for some it could be a test. In fact, yes, it's often a pretty clear giveaway if the other person constantly does it with you. Some people just can't make a distinction between the other person's initiative and their own.

Well all the dating experts say over and over that eye contact is important to convey interest in the person and the conversation....but as most women can attest to, and have already in this thread I might add, most men don't listen...it all comes out "blah blah blah.." lol

...so you can probably imagine lots of men repeating the mantra "MUST KEEP EYE CONTACT, MUST SEEM INTERESTED.....WHY IS HER MOUTH STILL MOVING?"....because the intended payoff is

This is very true, you can't get caught up in the continued eye contact because it's just a tactic there's no sincerity in it.

During very minor epileptics seizures,
a person will just stare motionless straight ahead for breif moments of time.

Also,
whilst they're masturbating.
Where were his hands during this time?

hmmm ...At the conversation/eye contact point in the proceedings, it would be safe to surmise that both were still in play....

Why is that? Most women don't think that men are sincere 75-90% of the time anyway....and my honesty is borne of the fact that I'm married, so much like ex-KGB agents, I can now share state secrets with impunity.....whistling

not that I ever engaged in such pig-like behavior....no, ma'am...not me...uh uh.....no no no!

So I assume that if I am listening to a conversation of a man then he will do the same for me. I mean I do not like to jump to the quick conclusion that all men are perves, but since I am in a university then I don't know.

IMO you shouldn't assume anything especially that because sadly at the end of the day nine times out of ten there's very little sincerity.

Pervert men tend to be far more faithful in relationships than the basic neurotic.

Not really, perverts are always perfectly happy if they just get to exercise their perversive behaviour with someone (assuming the person really has a genuine fixed "perversion" and is not just looking for unusual things to spice up the sex life). The rest of men are always looking for other alternatives, and that means also considering other women as an option. The more "normal" the guy may seem the more normal behaviour it is for him to view women as a tradeable good (since they are not getting anything else than the "pure" woman in exchange, so they have to keep on looking unlike the pervert who doesn't even want to get rid of his perversion as it produces him happiness)

Hey I mean, if your man wants to lick your toes while he is dressed up as a robot, I say do it. You will have yourself a life-long companion right there.
