REDFEATHERS

Prayers please.. Thank you everyone

I am feeling lonely sad, confused and a bit lost.

I have two dear relatives in hospital

I am housesitting and I only have my Auntie who lives closest.

My parents are away, and both my Grandparents are seriously ill.. I am constantly on the phone to my Aunt, the hospital and my sister and brothers

I just cant stop worrying.. and wish my parents were back home..
I hope to God pray nothing bad will happen to my Grandad and Grandma soon and will hold on a bit more, seems they have both given up and want to die..

Its heartbreakingly sad cry
I just cant stop crying and so I wish, if you can in your heart to find a moment, to say a little prayer for them.. my heroes in live, my greatest loves.

Its sad, my Grandad was rushed into hospital the other week and we were told the worst, and since then my Grandma has given up.. and doesnt want to be left alone if my Grandad dies.. now she has been rushed to hospital and wants to die.. they are in the same hospital now but in different wards.. my Grandad is upstairs, and actually he has got a bit better cos he is strong and a fighter, but my Grandma is fast deteriorating and she just doesnt look like Grandma.. sad

I dont think my Grandad knows or understands about Grandma.. I want my parents here, or my sister..

I just feel its all too much ..

sad hug Red get ur grandparents next of kin to talk to the consultants and the ward sisters ask them to arrange for your grandparents to be put in the same room or the same ward (most wards have males at one end females at the other end) if they can not they can arrange for the stronger one to visit, I have help do this many times and can help them fight the there illnesses.

Oh sweetie.. they cant be together cos there is a bug in the hospital and my Grandad is quarantined.. so is in a room on his own.. had it been ok, he would be in the ward next to my Grandma but he isnt even allowed to go downstairs to visit her..

Most times the hospital is crap..wonder how this bug got started??? there is a diff nurse or sister on each day so they dont know much about them and there is no care or consistency and their Doctor is on hospital for 2 weeks, so its just a GP who comes round and doesnt know them personally at all.. sad

mad makes me so mad how some NHS Trust r these days. Since they both can not be moved the arangments can be made so that they can talk 2 each other by phone, If one can not talk but can listen this can help 2.. hug wish u all did not have 2 go through this.

cry This is what I have done for my mum and what I tell others to do.
Get there favourite things from home it could be a blanket a pillow an item of clothing etc. For example with the pillow I spray this with Harry’s (step fathers) aftershave you could get someone to do this with ur grandfather and grandmothers perfume or aftershave, it gives my mother much comfort, I have been told by other patients and family members this has helped them feel comforted. Place lots of loved ones pictures around them place anything that is familiar to the patient.

Sounds like they have the MRSA at that hospital blinking NHS Trusts shake
heart U try and stay strong pray

Thank you sweetie hug

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and advice..

seems maybe the hospital hasnt kept up with their hygiene as per usual.. and of course the people they are supposed to be caring for are suffering..

But I will try that out, what you have suggested and hope that it will bring some comfort..

I think being alone and not having access to their house, I will ask my Aunt to bring these comforts and hope they help in some small way hug heart

katt you are a really special friend rose
