SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -- Police said a California man admitted faking his own kidnapping to keep his wife from finding out he crashed her new car. Police in San Rafael said the 35-year-old told authorities two kidnappers held him up at gunpoint, so he decided to purposely crash the car into a wall to escape.
