Actually... Epic Movie rates worse. Its at a 2% approval rating with only one critic (out of 45) recommending the film. Norbit received a 10% tomato rating with nine (out of 90) recommending it.

And at least Norbit screened for critics.

Eddie Murphy reminds me of a raisin, literally. Once he was fresh, juicy and crisp, now his jokes are just dried up and make me wanna...you know.

I think I might rather get mildly electrocuted than see Norbit.

You see movies based on reviews?

I do. My tastes are much more in tune with critics than average movie patrons that will collectively spend $34 million to see 'Norbit'. disbelief

The one time critics did me wrong was 'Crash'. That movie sucked.

good lord yes, and it was a shameless rip-off of "magnolia"

Is anyone feeling Ghost Rider? I'm a comic-book junkie, so I'm thinking about seeing it Friday.

If I had to go to a movie this past weekend, it would have been Hannibal Rising.

Nah, "Hannibal Rising" was pretty weak. A completely pointless movie.

on another note, I saw Hannibal Rising, and me and my friend cracked up when suddenly he went into outdoor sword training with his Asian female seductress mentor...

The whole training montage under a mentor is such a funny cliche now!

the whole idea of the movie is stupid. the advertisements already shows it sucks. eddie murphy has to do better than recycling the same nutty professor schtick all over again. it was funny, now its done and over. he needs to come up with something else.

Well the Norbit character was slightly interesting..the writing in the movie though was just bad..like uncomfortably not funny!! I did kind of think the character that Murphy thought up was charming though.

The funniest parts are in the commercials. And the commercials aren't that funny.

Thinking about it though, I really liked the character of Norbit. Silly background story notwithstanding, he could almost stand up in a more serious movie. He was like the adorable, awkward kid next door.
