The fountain.... Amazing movie. Absolute favorite of all time. Complicated and deep yet the love story at heart is what shines through....but sad as hell. Saddest movie I have ever seen in fact. It haunted me for weeks after I saw it.

Wow this is hard...there are so many...here are my narrowed down favorites
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (runs a very close 2nd)
Amelie
Titanic
Phantom of the opera
The english patient
City of angels
Edward scissorhands
Love and sex
Shakespeare in love
Serendipity
Dracula
Lost in translation
Say anything
Tristan and Isolde
Benny and Joon
Untamed heart
Kate and Leopold
Garden state
A very long engagement

I have a thing for tragic romances... biggrin

While You Were Sleeping
Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain
Singing In The Rain
The Princes Bride
Groundhog Day
Notting Hill
Four Weddings & A Funeral
Love Actually (so basically anything written by Richard Curtis, thank you)
When Harry Met Sally
Moonstruck
Ghost
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Shakespeare In Love (classic)

As you can see, I appreciate the romantic comedy.

I'm having a hard time coming up with five. It seems like all the love stories have an underbelly twist, so it's hard to categorize them as romantic.

The only one I've seen is 'Summer Of Love'. I'm a terrible film watcher. neutral

I think I saw 'Streetcar' in high school.

Every single one of them is a classic except "Summer of Love". Funny that's the one you've seen.

That's what I meant when I said I'm terrible with films. I've seen zero classics. It's like films don't exist for me until the 80s and beyond. It's almost the same for me with music. hmmm
