I don't think it's inherently a big deal, but it's culturally a big deal, which makes it a BIG DEAL. The parents know that what they're doing is taboo, which makes it creepy, and the child isn't in a position to understand that she's being included in something very abnormal in this society, and something potentially sexually gratifying (mostly BECAUSE of the taboo) to her parents.

i think this is sick and twisted, but don't see how it's illegal. unless perhaps it could fall under mental abuse of the child. i guess that would result in jail time. There is no perfect place

That artical doesnt give the FULL story and even if it did, Since it states that they had said "we don't believe in hiding anything." Could that Possibly be a part of a religious beleif? Its not right that that had happened but in some lands children are married by that age, If the child was able to walk out of the room at any time, It basicly is the same as a family living in a one room house where the parents have sex during the night. Children are very delicate and become tromatized rather easaly. So it is very likely that they will end up leaning towards mental abuse of the little girl. Poppys, daisys life is crazy | |
