Most children are aware of their parents' sexual activity, that's normal. It's also normal and healthy for parents to talk with their children about sex but having sex in front of a nine year old so that "she can learn" is not just creepy but borders on sexual abuse.

Basically, this mother and her boyfriend are including this child in their sexual acts by not excluding her from the room. For them to start actively having sex with this child doesn't seem that far off in the future by any stretch of the imagination.

It would be one thing if the child just saw her mother and the boyfriend naked because nudity does not equal sex but having sex in front of this child is really blurring the parent-child boundary. Also, the fact that the man involved is not her father makes this boundary even blurrier.

These people did not merely have sex with a child in the house, they had sex in front of her and that's just wrong. Seriously now, go back and read that article. Would you have sex in front of your own child or would you just pop in a kids video, give the kid a sandwich, and handle your business behind closed doors?

So basicaly no one should have sex with kids living in the house? I am not saying that I agree with what the mother did, but how many parents here had sex with their kids home and had one of them walk in? Would that ALSO be considered raising your child in a lewd household?
