Anybody else Anybody else bothered by the new Wendy's commercials that use "Blister in the Sun" by the Violent Femmes as the backgound music?

Okay, it's melted mozerella sauce.
I love the Violent Femmes and love the song but somehow it just doesn't go with food. I'm annoyed because I like the song, and I can't figure out why it's being used in the first place.
I swear, songs are picked for commercials without anybody really putting any thought into it. Remember Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life" being used by the Carnival Cruise Line? A touch innapropriate, eh?  "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |
