I remember days when I wrote entire papers on typewriters! Okay, I was in the 3rd grade, but I remember having to write out several drafts by hand and THEN when everything was perfect, you brought it to the typewriter. You couldn't do any composing on it, it was simply the final stage. If you screwed up or forgot a line or something, you had to go back and type the whole page over.  Wasn't that a pain? I used to hate that.
