How do you view beauty?

Is it personal, physical, deep, an invention or indescribable?

All I know is my taste in "beautiful" and "attractive" seem to be far away from mainstream tastes. Not to say I can't find conventionally 'beautiful' people 'beautiful', just that I often don't. Or rather, looks are only a tiny part of the picture for me. If I grow to like or love someone, or even if I grow to dislike someone, their appearance changes to me also. I don't see things objectively anymore. I can't help it. I just don't.

And if we're talking looks soley, if I have no way of knowing the person, then I tend to like things a bit quirkier there, too. Style will attract me way before physical attributes. And if they've no style, it's the little things I tend to find endearing, like big noses and broad shoulders and veiny arms. It's all subtleties and nuances with me.

I don't describe people as "beautiful" if I am talking about their personality. For me, it's a word that I strictly use regarding aesthetics and what I consider to be pleasing to my eye.

I'll use other words to describe one's personality.

I like the whole big tits & ass package.

I for instance believe beauty is primarily in the mind, but I'm not going to be so self-righteous as to say looks mean nothing; because they don't.

I personally find it hard sometimes to describe why I find something beautiful. I can give a vague description though, and if the person I'm giving it to shares my taste to a certain degree then they can fill in the blanks themselves. If they don't share my taste, then the description is often useless and doesn't make sense to them. It's simply hard to intellectualize an experience of beauty and thereby make it accessible to others in the same way as you can intellectualize a political opinion and make it accessible to others.

I'm way too shallow for this forum.

It's not even a certain thing, it's just that look that someone has that shows an effort has been put in to looking a certain way. Although I'll admit certain styles can be a turn-off, but overall it's just a sort of je ne sais quoi I suppose.
