There was just a story on the news of a man who went to a casino here and left his 4 year old boy in the car while he went in and gambled. It was -7 F and the windchill was even worse. The boy got out of the car after an hour and was wandering around the parking lot and another customer found him and brought him in, he was treated for hypothermia.
The man is was arrested, thank goodness.  |

*A picture of little Nyia Miangel Page* If that were my daughter I would have let her sleep with her Father and I when she tried to crawl into bed with us. If they let her do that perhaps she would have still been alive today. Her Mother must have been sleep through all that? Perhaps there was abuse in the home all along. One does NOT hit a child so hard they are knocked unconcious. I hope the Father gets LIFE. All he had to do was pick her up that night and bring her back to their bed. It seems like all she wanted to do was be with her Mommy and Daddy which is probably why she got back up again and went into the hallway. She was probably hoping her Mommy or Daddy would come get her. ONE of the worst parts of reading this story for me besides how she died was the first 2 initials of her name are the same as my daughters first 2 initials and my daughter is only 6 months older than little Nyia.
