Not sure, but LOST is known for that. In fact they do it on the show...sometimes peoples eye color is different depending on what's happening.

Didn't the pilot from the recap look like the guy from Heroes...the mind reader?

Great episode....the nurse is creepy...she seems nice, but she can't be trusted. What about the bus accident that was freaky...especially since she remembers saying he should be hit by a bus. Gosh I hope I don't die soon, waiting for the other episodes will take forever....survivor night!

Well because it's the same guy. Greg Grunberg has been in just about all of JJ Abrams shows either as a cameo or a part. JJ considers him his "good luck charm". I think JJ wanted him to cameo for Six degrees but Greg was busy with his own show. Six Degrees has tanked since.

Next week baby next week. I don't think we will be on Alcatraz Island all that much in the next few episodes.

I DID!! excited as soon as she said that, and seeing how much they were trying to get her to sign on with them i thought "ooo, those are the guys behind it all, and now they're going to kill him so she'll go with them." i have no doubt that the recruiter is with them all and somehow (don't know how) they got they guy hit by the bus. esp after seeing how much they knew about her too.

nod I thought she was just going to take off somehow, or finally stand up to her ex-husband...that ass!..."Turn the lights off on your way out." mad

But, why did she need his permission again??...I didn't get.

And say...do you think Ethan was driving that bus?? I never heard the bus hit the breaks. And, we know he's a killer.

She didn't need his permission, just didn't want to live in his shadow.

So no one has mentioned that we were given a huge clue as to what might be going on with LOST. Did you all catch all the time shift stuff?

Mittelos is an anagran for Lost Time

Juliet Mentions exactly how long she has been on the island. (I looked this up) Clocking back in real time,, there was a discovery that a black hole was the center of the Milky Way. Strange? Well the guard keeping Karl was reading Stephen Hawkings book "A short history of time" and the chapter he was reading? A chapter on how Black Holes can bend space and time.

The folks at Mittelos ask her about a womb that she claims to be of a 76 yr old woman, yet she's told it's that of a 26 year old woman.

Karl's "re-orientation" involves slides that depict how things over time change. "Everything Changes" being recurring text during the movie (kinda sounded like a rave in that room biggrin )

There have been numerous hints of time shifting. And things from out of time bieng in current time on the island...the Computer, Projector, The VCR, The BlackROck Ship, etc. I do hope that they don't explain it all with "oh it's just time shift blah blah" I do hope we find out how those things ogt to be where they are and in the manner that they are (like why is ther a VCR in one hatch and a Movie projector in another).

OK, I just watched this last night (I have a newborn son, which makes watching my regular shows hard), and SSB, I like your thoughts on this. Juliet's timeline also places her arrival on the island around the time of Sept. 11th, but that would be hard to write into Lost, I think. Additionally, one of the EW articles on Lost this week wondered if the 2004 tsunami would be written into the story, since in their timeline this would be coming up soon...

Nice catch on the Mittelos / Lost Time anagram. I imagine this is also connected with Thomas Mittelwerk, a character in the Lost Experience over the Summer.

The re-orientation stuff would be interesting to discect in more detail. It reminded me a lot of Sydney Bristow's reconditioning into Julia Thorne, but this could be because it's the JJ Abrams team and this could be what real re-conditioning stuff looks like anyway...

My wife and I both simultaneously burst out laughing and were horrified when Juliet's ex got hit by the bus. That was some nasty bus-driving!
