Do You Adjust Easily To Changes In Your Life?

I dunno, but the older I get, the harder it is to adjust to changes. I think it was easier when I was younger. Does anybody else feel this way?
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

Overall I adapt pretty well with changes I have no control over.
Changing my own habits, however, is next to impossible.

I don't know what I'm talking about. I like to think I adapt well but some things are hard to let go of. I mean, the BIG changes. I don't do so well with those.

Some changes have been good, and I adjusted well to them. An example was when I switched jobs last summer. Other times changes have been bad, and I haven't adjusted to them at all. An example there would be when my dad died 9 years ago this summer. I'll never adjust to that change. I still have dreams every now and then where he's still alive.

I don't know. I was just thinking about HUGE life changes, like my mom having cancer, my grandmother dying, losing love... I have a really, really hard time with those kinds of things. But changing jobs, moving, I love that kind of change.

i think everyone has a hard time with huge emotional changes such as someone being sick or passing away. I know that I do.

I'm also the biggest baby about losing love relationships. I have a hard time dealing with that, even when it's for the best.

Change has always excited excited me but as I get older I realize that I would like a little more stability and possibly a little less change once I figure out where I belong.

Yes, very well. I had to adapt to change because my family moved a lot when I was a kid.

yep nod

I don't adjust well to change at all... very strange coming from someone who's regularly had change in her life in huge ways since I was 5 years old lol

Well, yes I guess so. I've been travelling from place to place for quite a while now. Tomorrow I fly from Auckland to Santiago, Chile. Im a little apprehensive about the stigma attached to South American countries and I do wonder how I will adapt. I'm sure I will be fine I guess as long as I'm safe.

yes i do. its nice to embark on something new. i think i'd go crazy if things stayed the same lol besides on a dark note sometimes there are things that you just can't control and its best to just accept it for what it is and move on.

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown
