The Office (thurs nights) ok- maybe i am late for the party but ....
i love this show ... to me sometimes --- seeing it a second time has me laughing/crying even more ! case in point : the one where Michael's superior dies ... and he is thinking "damn what if i would die, would anyone even notice?" and then that scene in the conference room where he throws that ball at people and urges them to "open up their grief stories" .... the first girl ... who talks about her "aunt " who was a famous boxer ... and goes into a coma .... and has to tell someone to pull the plug .... i totally did not see that clint eastwood movie .... so i missed the gag ..... the first time i saw this episode .... but then ... when Ryan chimes in .... about his cousin , Mufasa, who was stampeded in an accident .... i was cryin !!! then the other dude chimes in about his cousin "berny ." ... who died ... and ... well ... it was funny as shit the second time !

When I switched jobs from evening hours to day hours, I started watching it because I wanted to get into My Name is Earl and The Office is right after it. I love both shows now.

"On the wings of LOVE!"
that was a funny episode I first watched the British version, and I couldn't understand some of the changes--Why bother changing Tim's name to Jim? But actually the American version is just as good. Different, but really funny. Actually the show is like being in an office. It's boring yet very funny at the same time. An odd vibe. My Legacy

The show are different enough to watch them both, though British humor doesn't always appeal to Americans (and vice versa) I thought the "reunion" episode, the last British one, was some of the funniest TV ever. The American version is good, but for me nothing beats the Ricky Gervais original. He's just that much more endearingly embarrassing.

I agree...I record it so I can watch it twice because I always catch something I missed the first time! Such a funny show...my favorites are the Xmas episodes...especially last years when everyone was fighting over the iPod! Steve Carrell is the best. I love each character too..they are all funny in their own way. Jim and Toby are hot! Roy's gotten hot this year too! Every minute of last night is on my face today....
