Hilarious prank phonecall (*Definitely* NSFW)!

Some background:

This is from The Howard Stern Show. For those who aren't familiar with "relay" calls, most phone companies offer this service for the deaf, wherein an operator verbalizes the caller's typing for the call-ee and types the call-ee’s reply for the caller.

The guy with the very heavy stutter is a show regular known as "John the Stutterer" (not "Stuttering John" - different person) and his impediment is genuine.

The responses from the "deaf" caller come as quickly as they do because the tape is edited. You can hear Howard and Robin laughing over top of the recording:

lol

That is so wrong. lol

It's the law that these relay calls are offered. Basically, def people can type their message into a machine, and the operator, by law, must relay that message. I actually feel very sorry for those operators because this is a service that is meant to assist def people, and radio DJs and other folks have been abusing it.

Oh, I know - I've gotten relay calls at work.

I didn't realize other people were making prank relay calls (I thought this was an isolated incident).

Still funny as shit, though. falloff
