my mom used to make a really simple cabbage soup and i wish i knew how she made it, because she'd whip up batches of it and we'd have cabbage soup for days. i LOVED it, especially with a bit of hot sauce mixed in. yum. i think it's some fairly common dieting soup? i'll have to check with my ma this weekend... | |

I went to a new restaurant called "Zoup" and got an Italian soup with vegetables in it. It was pretty good. The name of the restaurant made me think of the Seinfeld episode with the Soup Nazi, and I was kind of wondering if I would see one there. I didn't.
Edited to add that I just found their website: http://zoup.com/. Apparently, their home office is in Michigan.
