What was the worst hangover you ever had? How did you recover and how long did it take you? Did you stay in bed all day?

I am hungover btw.

Alcohol poisoning from my first experience with Vodka.

New years 2005

The first time I ever drank. I woke up on the kitchen floor and felt like a big mess.

I was in bed all day. Horrible.

Dublin, Ireland after a wedding 3 days of hell , mostly coz they wouldnt let me STOP drinking.....oh and i tried to cop off with 2 bridesmaids at the same time in front of my then G/F.

I have been prouder of myself than that moment.

Maybe a cpouple of days.. but I was treated like it was a hangover but it wasnt.. it was hangover with concussion.. omg baddd..

you have a baddd hangover when the room is spinning.. well times that by 1000 it was horrible, dreadful..

There is a song by the Offspring called "The Worst Hangover Ever" I think u could all appreciate it..lol

Oh god, on Smirnoff Orange Vodka. Someone got me it as a birthday gift, and I can't stand Smirnoff. I came home one night after partaking in some other substances, and couldn't fall asleep. It was the only bottle of liquor I had, so I started drinking it to try and knock myself out. I still can smell that crap just thinking about it, it's awful.

I don't really drink much anymore.

My worst hangover lasted three months metaphorically.

I'd drank about 15 pints of Stella Artois and ended up in the police cells a month later, on a criminal damage charge, I'd kicked a car whilst drunk. I was aiming for my dad and missed. My best friend (whom I was madly in love with at the time) had told me that morning, that his girlfriend was pregnant, so I got drunk. It was over ten years ago. Nightmare.

When I was studying in Cannes, France there was this Brazilian guy, Eduardo, who was always buying rounds of drinks for everyone...one night it was tequila. I had never had tequila before but was no stranger to drinking or shots of jager, etc. So I did a shot of tequila and thought, "pfft, that was nothing." So then I did a second....and a third. (On top of the beer I was drinking.) I was so wasted---when we got back to the dorms I was puking my guts out. My roommate, Suzanne (this real naive girl from Tennessee) kept coming into the bathroom to check on me--she didn't understand what was wrong--she thought I had the flu or something, I guess. I didn't get out of bed until 4pm the next day and when I did I still felt like .

ahh, good times.


I think I've done two shots of tequila total in the 10 years since that night.

or, i THOUGHT it was the worst hangover ever. i drank sunday night and woke up monday sicker than a dog!! i couldn't get out of bed til 2pm, b/c every time i moved i puked. then i took my temperature and noticed the achiness and realized it was the flu.

I've learned not to drink too much, so I haven't had a hangover for years. I hardly remember the last time, only that puking was involved. :eew:

Took two days.

My first night in L.A, at Jerry's Famous Deli in Bev Hills. Only had three drinks as far as I know. I've had triple that with no problem(not bragging). Checked into a hotel room at 4:30am; and we drove around forever looking for a room because there was a film festival in town. Went to sleep shortly after that. Got up at 6:30. Had the worst headache I've ever had with bouts of vomiting in between. Watched the Cowboys lose a heartbreaker to the Skins in the morning(watching football in Cali is a trip). The friend I was sharing the hotel room with was a Skins fan. Not fun. Didn't have a place yet and was stressed about that. I didn't get rid of the headache until the next day. But I haven't had a single hangover since then.

bachelor/bachelorette party... we started out in town just the girls and headed out to the village where we met up with the guys. i don't remember what i was drinking that made me so ill but i felt like damn it in the morning!

i had to get my friend to drive my vehicle (something i've never had to do) and even worse i had to ask her to stop it once or twice because the motion was doing a number on me. still didn't puke though

1992...too much tekilla, took me 2 days to recover and a HUGE reason I don't drink all that often.

There are two that are tied for first place. One the day after I'd tried sake for the first time () and one the day after I'd slept a whole night in a room full of pot smoke and drank vodka, beer and wine the previous evening ().

These days I make sure to drink lots of water before I go to bed if I've been drinking alcohol. It forces me to visit the bathroom several times that night, but at least it keeps me from getting a hangover. Works every time actually.

My bachelor party way back in 1990.

I started out the night drinking Champaign, then moved on to beer. After that, shots of Tequila, many shots of Tequila. And when the Tequila ran out, I started taking shots of Vodka.

Not a pretty sight. I was dry heaving until 3:30 the next afternoon. Then a couple of years later I found out that while I was taking shots of Vodka, my friends were taking shots of water. Not to mention that my stomach was extremely sore the next day and I thought it was because of vomiting. Nooooo, two of my "friends" got they idea that I should throw-up to help get some of the alcohol out of my system so they were punching me in the stomach to try to make me throw up.
