I'm no nutritionist... but in general, shouldn't a vegetarian diet be conducive to losing weight? I actually can't eat a vegetarian diet because it causes my weight to crash dangerously low, even if I make an effort to stuff myself with calorie-dense vegetarian food. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

For all those trying to get in shape, check out this dude's website. When he lived in NYC, I did a training session with him - the cat is awesome. He's making a name for himself as one of the top fitness instructors around.

So guys, it is the end of week one. How is everyone doing?
Me, I went over on my daily calorie intake four of the seven days but I only had one soda, something I struggled to give up. I failed miserably over the weekend and had fast food. At the end of the week, I have not lost any weight but I did not gain any either, something I am proud of because I saw my weight start to creep up slowly at the beginning of the year. My elliptical is still in the box in the middle of the floor because I can't get someone to help put it together but I am doing my crunches on my exercise ball.

Why is it that when you want to eat healthier, the food sucks? I'm sitting here eating a lumpy gross looking yogurt. Why does it cost more to eat healthier, too? I bought Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine, South Beach Diet and Smart Ones and that isht cost me a grip. Anybody actaully want to do an Org contest for the next six months to see who loses the most weight? Bitch about your weightloss issues here. Dude I hear ya...those prepared foods are so expensive. I bring lean cuisines to work all the time for lunch (may I suggest sesame chicken and veggie eggroll) and I spend a fortune on them. You have to check out all your local markets and see who's having sales on them. Fruits and veggies have always been expensive too, it's hard to eat healthy! If you have gross lumpy yogurt try adding raspberries and grape nuts to it...it's yummy!! Good luck!

I have to be in great shape by the beginning of July for two reasons. a) there is a huge family reunion and b) for work, as I will be surrounded by celebs for 10+ days, so looking like utter shit would be even more devastating for my self-esteem. I can do this, I know I can.
