When I was in China a couple of years ago, we went to this great restaurant where we had a big pan of soup boiling, in the middle of our table, with a fire underneath keeping everything boiling.. and we were served loads of raw veg, bits of meat and seafood to put in ourselves and cook it while we eat

anyway there were some live prawns/shrimps, squirming and moving about while just been speared onto a skewer and when my friends stuck it in the soup, me being a bit of a sadist, just dipped the prawn in a little bit to see it boil to death, pulled it out and dipped it in again, still alive..

Man, have you ever heard a prawn scream?

No, but I've heard that a live lobster will scream when you throw it into boiling water. OMG - I feel so sorry for those live lobsters that you see in a tank in the grocery store, with their claws taped together. Poor things!
