Did you know that back during this Dallas era, this episode was one of the most watched episodes in the history of TV. They even had "Who Shot JR"??? t-shirts back then and they were selling like hotcakes.

I also remember in 1986,they had one of the biggest cliffhangers of all.At the end of the season,Pam wakes up, looks in the shower and sees her supposedly "dead" husband Bobby smiling back at her! People sent the whole summer speculating on this scene. In the fall,we learned that the ENTIRE year had been a long dream! Which meant that Bobby didn't really die after all.

It totally did...but, Bobby was such a fox, I didn't want to see him die...he and Lorenzo Llamas on Falcon Crest were the only good eye-candy on Friday nights! wink

Pam was in a horrible car crash. She was on her cell phone talking to Bobby, telling him the good news she had just received. Her doctor said she and Bobby could now conceive a child. Then suddenly, she crashed into a big rig.She didn't die,but she was all bandaged up and the next season, they sent her to another country. She never returned.

She was a different actress, but I don't remember how that story evolved.By that point,I had stopped watching the show.I never gave up on 'Dynasty' though.I stuck with that show til the very end.
