I Hate Interviews!

Does anybody hate them as much as I do? It's just the same old questions over and over again, that I get sick of answering. Just give me the damn job already. lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I actually like them. I find them very easy and I really don't get nervous.

I had my first job interview in like 6 years last week...and I got the job. woot!

You're lucky that you don't get nervous. I clam up and don't ask the questions that I know I should ask. err err

I hate having to fill out an application over and over. I also hate the redundant testing. I would keep my scores with me at all times so I could opt out (or try to )of thier stupid tests.

I have to say that it's pretty straight forward non-BS type of interviewing here. Heck we don't even make you fill out an application. Most jobs you need to apply online, but have to do a profile first and your app. is based on that. And no crazy tests either. Though the interviewing process can be hairy.

I hate the tests too - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and the worst - typing! I want to ask these companies why they need to test my typing. After doing this kind of work for the last 20 years - shit, they should know by now that I can type. lol

YES! this is what i hate too.

the worst is when i prepare a stack of resumes on pretty paper that i anguished over at kinkos, only to go to an interview and be told to copy all the information from my resume on to a stupid application form with a blue erasermate pen that's almost out of ink. why?!?!? "we need to put it in your folder," they say. PUT MY DAMN RESUME IN YOUR FOLDER AND SHUT UP!!

gosh! mad

I always use a template for my cover letters. Usually 3 variations. The standard, The one with prior salary history, and there is one more I use...I just can't recall what's the other requirement. I use these and taylor them as I please using their language and/or something specific about the job (if there is any) so to make it not so generic, though there is generic language baked in.

I hate them too. I get so nervous, my whole body turns red from head to toe. I stutter...it's just awful. My best interview was the one I had for my job now. I was out all night and still drunk in the morning. Ya ya this was a while ago so shuddup....I got the job didn't I? lol

it's gonna be a while, because voice recognition software still pretty much sucks. plus, you have the issue of noise pollution - you can't have a meeting in a shared workspace while someone is babbling away text into a voice recognition program. so the whole concept of the work space would have to change to accommodate soundproofing.

it could and probably will happen, but the way businesses like to drag their feet, it won't happen anytime soon.

I don't want to jinx myself but I interview pretty well. I am nervous as hell but I keep it on the inside. My goal is to always get at least a giggle out of them. I've been successful thus far.

Why do they always ask why you want the job?
It's because you haven't won the lottery!

If strip searches are interviews,
I hate 'em.

Not that I don't mind the erotic aspect to the process,
it's just,
as some of you are well aware of by now,
I'm a drug-mule by trade,
& these things always end up with me getting busted
in one form or another.
