as far as the fave things i have in my apartment:

-- my zebra-print blanket

-- my dirty mind trade ad (currently it's being held up on the side of my fridge with magnets...i need to see how much it would cost to have it framed)

-- my des moines flag that's hanging up in my 2 side windows, along with the 2 rainbow flags i use as curtains

...my place is really small, so i don't have enough room to have big pieces of art or furniture in it.

I didn't realize Des Moines even had its own flag and I went to college/lived there for four years! boxed (I know the state flag though.)
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Yes, Drake. And I lifeguarded at the West Des Moines Public Pool in the summers. There were a lot of things I didn't do there--it was too easy to stay around campus and party on weekends and not 'explore the city.' I did go the the Art Center a lot though.

Tha´t s a women´s hamam.....was that done by a Turkish artist ? A bit unusual to depict halfnaked women on old miniatures, even if it´s a replica.

I have no idea who the artist is. I bought this and the other piece at an antique shop in the Bebek area of Istanbul. Both are ivory.
Isn't it unusual to see Turkish women with pubic hair?? I thought they removed it.

It could very well be. The artist's signature on the bigger one is in "old Turkish" and stylized.
