Tomorrow is Groundhog's Day Do any of you believe in the story that if the groundhog sees his shadow, we will have 6 more weeks of winter? Or do you think it's a bunch of baloney? RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

the festival of the growing light can be traced to modern America in the Groundhog Day custom on February 2. If the groundhog sees his shadow on this morning, it means there will be six more weeks of winter. The custom comes directly from Europe, and Scotland in particular, where an old couplet goes: If Candlemas Day is bright and clear, there'll be two winters in the year.

He didn't see his shadow, early spring for us.!!
Actually, we almost always get our last bout of bad weather around St Patrick's day, then we're good for Spring. I do like February though, you can feel the sun getting stronger every day. And the days are already noticably longer. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss
