When the idiot box starts spewing profane rap videos, turn it off.

Refrain from cursing around the kids.

Teach our boys that women should be cherished, not raped and demeaned.

Tell them that education is a prize we won with blood and tears, not a
dishonor.

Stop making excuses for the agents and abettors of black-on-black crime.

It costs us nothing to do these things. But if we don't, it will cost us
infinitely more tears.

Bill Cosby and his wife make significant donations to good causes. It's more than being famous and being a public speaker. He lost his son tragically and it impacts any parent.

When I worked at Atlantic Aviation in Chicago, I met Bill Cosby numerous times. I have even driven him to the Drake downtown becasue he is too cheap to pay for a cab or limo. He arrived in a 20 million G4. I have spoken to him many times about education.

Bill Cosby didn't portray himself as a celebrity. Talking to Bill Cosby was like talking to anyone else. I was a teacher for six years, so we spoke about my experience for awhile. Then, we talked about the choices kids make. We just had a normal conversation for about thirty minutes. He asked if I would take him around to the back, so he would not have to spend thirty minutes getting to his room.

Like I mentioned, he flew in to Chicago many times. He would go into the break area where the employees sat to see if there was any good food. He once asked a guy if he could have a piece of an Italian beef. I wasn't taking a shot at him, I honestly think that is interesting. He employs a family member as his pilot.
