I'm in two leagues. I easily won one game and in the other I need Buress to score tomorrow night.

I'm not sure if I like the third receiver from an offensively challenged team. Maybe someday in the future.

Isn't Hines Ward questionable??? Didn't Kordell & the offense do pretty good last year?

Baseball is more nerdy becuz you have to follow 160+ games a year. Football fantasy is cool cuz you can get together with your friends once or twice a week, talk shit, eat alot, drink beer, etc.

Moonbeam

I'm in a pool here with other students in the math department. So far, of the 14 games played, I guessed 11 of the winners!

Offensively challenged? Two wide receivers coming off of 1,000 yard seasons, a running back with another 1,000 yard season (before he got hurt in week 12), Kordell coming off a rebirth year and being talked about as potential mvp last season, and an offensive coordinator that's been there longer than any of Kordell's brief career? Potentially, this is one of the best offenses they've had in a very long time.

Besides, I was only throwing Randle El's name out as someone to watch. I really don't know anything about Fantasy Football. But if I did, I doubt I'd pick ANY rookie.

I think so. He's healthy as far as practicing, but I don't know if he's going to play.

I gather you are a Steeler fan, because they indeed are offensively challenged. Lucky for Pittsburgh fans the defense more then makes up for any shortcomings.

Potentially they have a good offense, but then again Kordell always screws things up in the end. Remember the end of last season?

A thousand yard season is not really a big deal anymore.

Yes, but don't confuse it with being a typical irrational fan. Some of us can be objective.

Well they weren't offensively challenged last season.

Historically it usually takes a QB 3 or 4 years to establish himself. He's no different in that respect. He spoiled people in his rookie year because he had at least one very good receiver, and a good team around him. During his tenure as a pro QB he's had at least 3 different offensive coordinators - show me a young QB (before his prime) that thrives with that many offensive coordinators within that short span of time. And he really has little post season experience.

People who don't know must think Terry Bradshaw was automatically a great QB when he entered the league. Terry Bradshaw as a wet behind the ears QB was TERRIBLE, for at least a few years before he learned to play the position. And I do mean TERRIBLE. People wanted to run him out of Pittsburgh.

A thousand yard season is not really a big deal anymore.

To have 2 receievers who are thousand yard producers on one team IS a big deal. It's one more than the usual single thousand yard receiver. Show me the other teams that have them, and you'll most likely find that they're good offensive/winning teams.

The Dallas Cowboys are an embarrasment. Quincy Carter might be the worst QB I have ever seen.

I'm in a pool with 20 teachers, and it looks like I did pretty well. My team has always been the Vikings, but I figured the Bears would win today, but not by much. Without Chris Carter, I'm not sure how well the Vikes will do this year. My next fav team is the Oakland Raiders. They did very well against Seattle. I may have made some money this week.

I plan on fully responding to post thread tomorrow, but I wanted to take a minute and say that Kordell Stewart has 2 interceptions in the first 2 minutes of the season. This puts him on pace for 480 picks this season eek lol
