You really should contact my sister. Your work is so much alike in so many ways. She's got a great eye for composition, like you. And often depicting stuff from everyday life, like you; kids and being out in nature.

I will send you her deviantart page link!

Yeah, but not a very good one. I basically use it just to take pictures of things for eBay, as I've never really liked it for more recreational purposes. It doesn't seem to capture natural lighting very well.

yeah sigh you do need a real camera. Before I got this SLR, all my photos were pretty crap. You have so much control over everything with a good camera, and you can see exactly what your photo will be when you are taking it.

How much does a camera like that run for? Seeing the pictures you took makes me feel like I need one.

I am not sure where you live - have a look online - Nikon D50 is what I have, it's only 6megapixels though, the Nikon D70 has 8.

Looks like more than I can afford, although I figured as much. I guess I'll just have to learn to love my camera that makes the whole world look like bat barf.

Thanks for the info, though.

Why spend money on gruel? Crack open a wall, if you live at all like I do there's sure to be plenty of delicious rats within.

I've just started taking photography seriously (as a hobby) in the last few months too. I only have a 6MP Olympus (not a DSLR). It's not reading memory cards and I need to get it fixed, so I'm in Malaysia now using my friend's 4MP Fujifilm. shrug By July (my birthday) I intend to get a Nikon D80. I'm hoping the price will drop a little by then.

Love the pics! thumbs up!
