the cockroach slowing down his heart is interesting...

Except we don't have any evidence that he can take attributes from anything other than other Heroes... If he could gain features like that, he could just go through nature grabbing all kinds of horrifying powers.

I agree that it seems a little unlikley, but not impossible--only that unlike Peter, Sylar has to physically put the brain parts that controls a person's powers into himself. That's why he kept on cutting open people's heads, right? So that means he would have had to perform microsurgery on the roach. Unless there was another metahuman who had similar powers that Sylar took in the past that we don't know about.

Well if you watch the prior episode theres a scene with Syler on the floor looking at the cockroach and saying "you're broken."

The Title of this weeks episode was "The Fix".

He's pretty skilled then to open that cockroach without using any of his watch tools.

I hope the mother didn't try to kill Claire...she looks like a crack head.

nod I thought she looks a little dodgy as well. But I think it's from grief of losing her kid or something, she does look unstable to me though.

Micah's dad was on 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer'. He played Buffy's boyfriend Riley's best friend when they were part of the secret government organization, 'The Initiative'. He eventually got turned into a zombie. sad

I just browsed through Episode 12 "Godsend" and while there are two scenes of Sylar lying on his bunk with the cockroach crawling around him - he does NOT say "you're broken". In fact, he doesn't speak at all in that episode.

If anything, perhaps the cockroach was simply a foreshadowing symbol of what his escape plan would be... The idea that he could 'digest' the DNA of insects and animals seems just a bit beyond what they've shown us so far. Since the idea is that he incorporates the traits of other 'heroes' and we know he's killed at least one or two previously where I don't think it was established what their powers were it's possible this is a trick he's picked up previously...

Perhaps this is an issue that will be clarified in some way in the future.

The Title of this weeks episode was "The Fix".

Which I think is what everyone in the episode is looking for in respect to their individual problems/situation...
