I recall two times when Ive seen animals attack. Both happened in India. It was quite amusing. The first incident happened in Rajasthan where a bull had got into the grounds of the hotel and was running amock in the garden. We were told we could not go to our rooms and had to wait on the hotel roof. Staff said that it had gotten scared because it was being prepared for a Muslim sacrifice I think. Guys were throwing rocks and sparying water at it to chase it out!

The next incident happened in Varanasi. We had just got off the boat from the Ganges and we saw this cow pushing this goat into a wall. My tour leader Rudy jumped in and chased the cow off!

One of my horses bit me hard once... that shit hurt like hell

I have been kicked by horses, had my fingers bitten by lobsters and goats have chased me nasty wee bad temper monsters they r....

My cat bit me on the face once when I was sleeping!
I took him to a vet that specializes in animal behavior (i.e. kitty shrink) and she gave me a discipline regime to follow. He's been a good boy since

I was snorkling in the Bahamas and suddenly out it came, from between two big rocks. The mouth was wide open and it was aiming for my face, which was really unpleasant of course. Then suddenly it stopped, a few inches away. I guess it felt it had demonstrated how easy it would have been to bite me and made its point that I should stay the hell away from its crib.

It was scary, especially since I was so slow in the water and the fish was so fast. Kind of like a nightmare where you want to run, but can barely move.
