The fact that he's getting rich from exhibiting dead bodies

lol But the dead bodies don't care how much money he makes. They're helping him and went into it knowing that would be the case before they were dead. Plus they probably could care less about money and who has it from where they are now. lol Do you blame the donors too then?

Oh and I just don't really understand what is wrong with people looking at bodies on display. hmmm I mean, it's a human body. We all have one. shrug They display mummies in museums all over the world, and surely someone is making money off of that somehow. Why is that different? Why is it ok if they're really long, long dead, and didn't give their permission, and not ok for the newer ones who wished to be displayed?

This show ----> http://www.channel4.com/s...index.html

It will be on again on channel tien tonight! Don't miss it if you can handle watching "gory" stuff.

Gunther Von Hagens himself (the man who is behind body plastination and the Body Worlds exhibits) will be doing an anatomy class on TV.

I've watched it before and it's truly amazing. nod He works with cadavers and shows everything from opening the body to reveal the respiratory system, the circulatory system, the reproductive system, etc. on non-plastinated cadavers.

Not for people who get grossed out by those things though. It's basically watching an autopsy where NOTHING is edited out. biggrin

Don't miss it!!!!!

It's so cool to see how everything in the human body is "put together" and how it all works.

I really find this work and the learning opportunities that it presents to be quite fascinating. I've been to two of Plastination exhibitions as well, one was Prof. Von Hagens' own.

Very intriguing stuff thumbs up!

Aye, Prof. Von Hagens had one exhibition at the Atlantis Gallery, Brick la., east London (EasT LDN headbang [Sorry, I had to get that in giggle] ). I saw one this summer called "The Body" in London's Earl's Court. Great works.

Anyways.

I watched The Gilmore Girls. Luke and Lorelai broke up and in the timespan of two weeks, Lorelai is back with Christopher (hottie!) but she does not seem happy.

Rory also does not look happy. She seems too glamorous. She needsa scruffy look and to walk around in music t-shirts, damnit!

Fantastic series, not to be missed !!

It's better then watching any CSI serie, which basically is the same as The Bodies, but The Bodies is for real.

Making money ... b*llsh*t ..... even your undertaker is making money when you are death....just to burn you for like an hour..... Euro 2000.... now that's an interesting business.

Senseo.....Val, never knew you actually drank coffee..... next time I will make you a good old pot of coffee....Dutch way, with some Buisman adjusted ....

Yeah, I liked it better the first tme I saw it actually. The exhibition was bigger, in a better setting, and well I guess the 2nd time I had already seen it by then so the fascination wasn't as great as the first.
