NOPE. There's a few, since I do international travel I would like to meet,to answer the question. As far as WWII hx, the Brits actually held their own ....(now, the French needed a little help).
With the Battle of Britain, July-October 1940, all the combat was in the air and the stakes were high. The Germans had 2,700 fighters to Britain's 800. The Brits had an edge: radar. The combination of technology, innovation, mililtary strategy, and tactics of the British prevented the Germans from conquering the country. AND this was before the German "nail in the coffin" attack on Russia during the winter, (learned nothing from Napolean) which ultimately sunk the German army. I love military history. STill it all worked out in the end. before the USA joined in, 'giving Jerry a bloody nose' they helped the british out with supplies and wepeons and all it cost us was £600,000.00 per year until 2006 in interest and a couple of islands. at least they speak the same language as the brits but only just!!!! Most people don't realize this, but the Russians lost an estimated 30 million civilians and soldiers in WW II which is documented in "Soviet Casualties and Combat Losses" by G.F.
